There is a constant need to improve and enhance existing heritage and cultural offerings to attract tourists – as well as a pressing demand to develop new visitor attractions.
As I travel, I see many untapped opportunities for upscaling the visitor offering in the heritage and cultural sectors – and this does not have to be an expensive exercise.
Often, fairly simple interventions and initiatives can greatly improve the experience for individuals and also provide tour companies the chance to offer a wider ranging and more appealing choice of visits.
